PYRIMIDINE BASES AND THEIR REACTIVITY

In this monograph, the authors systematized and analyzed pyrimidine compounds, scientific literature and total of their own research in the field of fine organic synthesis of new derivatives of pyrimidine base containing oxo, thioxo, amino, methylthio, and selenoxopyrimidinones-4.

In addition, the authors have shown that most of the considered compounds exhibit various herbicidal, fungicidal and defoliant properties.

Many of them are recommended for use in various branches of science, including medicine, agriculture and folk economy.
