PCBs are used everywhere in the field of electrical engineering to connect electrical components to one another. This research book presents the design and implementation of low-cost mini-PCB commuter numerical control machine based on microcontroller. A stepper motors were used to compile the movement of the three axes coordinates. Moreover, the generated Gerber file was analyzed using MATLAB platform where the analyzed file is converted to C-code and transmitted to the milling and drilling machine through the serial communication port using RS232 protocol. In addition, a path planning technique based on sorting drilling algorithm was also proposed. The simulated and implemented results were coincided.
Mohammed S. Amplitude clipping is one of the most techniques used to reduce PAPR, this technique does not demand side information; therefore, no reduction in the system’s data throughput. However, it leads to additional distortion (in-band signal distortion and out-of-band radiation). To overcome this problem, low complexity non-distortion clipping technique is proposed for OFDM system, the main concepts of this proposed method is how to convert the generated distortion (in-band and out-of-band signals distortion) when using clipping at transmitter to impulse noise (error) which is possible easily be covered by using a simple coding technique to cover error at the receiver. the proposed method does not clipping the signal in time domain, the clipping use for discrete samples directly after IFFT. Simulation outcome detect that the proposed non-distortion clipping technique provides an efficient reduction in PAPR, best performance compared with conventional clipping technique, and less cost and complexity.
Khalid Awaad Humood, Qahtan Khalaf Omran, Hayder Khaleel AL-Qaysi, Tahreer Mahmood Copyright (c) 2022 Khalid Awaad Humood, Qahtan Khalaf Omran, Hayder Khaleel AL-Qaysi, Tahreer Mahmood https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/166 Mon, 28 Nov 2022 00:00:00 +0000 MINIMIZE THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF MOBILE SPECTRUM SENSING FOR COGNITIVE RADIO https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/161
Cognitive radio is a low-cost communication system, which can choose the available frequencies and waveforms automatically on the premise of avoiding interfering the licensed users. The spectrum sensing is the key enabling technology in cognitive radio networks. It is able to fill voids in the wireless spectrum and can dramatically increase spectral efficiency.
In this book, we will know the techniques to minimize the energy consumption and we will use MATLAB to simulate the received signals from the cognitive radio networks and an energy detector to detect whether the spectrum is being used. The project also compares the theoretical value and the simulated result and then describes the relationship between the signal to noise ratio (SNR) and the detections, and the result will show that with the increasing of the SNR (from 10 dB to 0) the detections we get also increased and within 7 dB and 5 dB, the increasing slope is the largest. So, the SNR influences the detections. It indicates that with the increasing of the SNR, the more spectrums which are occupied we can detect. At last, we will be talking about the future work.
Tahreer Mahmood, Hanan Badeea Ahmed, Adham Hadi Saleh , Enas D. In PP No. 94 of 2021, it explains the discipline of civil servants as a form of employee's ability to comply with obligations and avoid the prohibitions specified in the legislation and/or official regulations which, if not obeyed or violated, will be imposed. In PP No. 94 of 2021 there are 17 (seventeen) obligations and 14 (fourteen) prohibitions for civil servants, with the level of disciplinary punishment divided by level and type, each according to the nature and severity or severity of the violation committed, as well as the consequences. caused by the violation committed by the Civil Servant concerned. The research method used is normative juridical research using primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The data collection technique of this study was literature study and document study. Data analysis is done by collecting, compiling, and analyzing qualitatively. This means that political parties must have geopolitical insight as Soekarno's view. To fulfil this role, political parties need to be institutionalized. This paper intends to analyze several dimensions of institutionalization of political parties, namely: leadership, ideology, culture, and organizational transformation. In this context, the author only focuses on the dimensions of ideology and leadership. To analyze the two dimensions of the institutionalization of political parties, this paper methodologically relies on a critical

paradigm and uses a mixed-method. The research time is one month, which is carried out from 1-30 June 2022. The data collection technique uses a literature review (library research) and surveys with a total of 1,538 respondents and 1522 respondents who were successfully interviewed spread over 81 districts/cities, 34 provinces. The results show: first, ideology in the context of democratization is a beacon of political parties. Ideology becomes a political stance for each party to discuss and debate matters of state life. In a democratic system, ideology comes down to manifestos and programs that help society. In the context of public cognition, the ideology of political parties becomes an important parameter to see the vision, foundation, commitment, and consistency of a party which in turn has implications for the realization of democratic ideals. The community's favorable assessment of the ideology of nine political parties, the highest was obtained by PDIP with a score of 12.7%. Second, strategic leadership as a step towards organizational transformation. In this context, political parties are expected to be able to project the future, prosperity, peace, uphold the rule of law and science and technology. According to public cognition, the best political party organizational transformation, 13.3% is occupied by PDIP.
F. Ferol Warouw, Hasto Kristiyanto, Piet H. Pusung, Viktory N.J. To master speaking skills has meant to memorize form/structure and meaning/semantics. As such, students are expected to follow linguistic rules and dictionary meanings (i.e., denotion ) while speaking about any topic. Teaching speaking within a GTM conceptualization has often caused some problems that carry over into real (and substantial) human communication. With the introduction of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) in Uzbekistan in 2o12, the focus has shifted from learning form and semantics to studying language in use.We don’t argue that the GTM is invaluable, and we respect what this methodology brings to the area of language teaching and learning. However, it is important to better understand and characterize those involved in the disease outbreak process as these result
in huge economic losses in the aquaculture industry. High-throughput technologies such as proteomics can be an important characterization tool, especially in the identification of pathogens and virulence mechanisms related to host-pathogen interactions in disease research and diagnosis, contributing to the control, prevention, and treatment of diseases in farmed fish.
The important role of proteomics is also maximized by its holistic approach to understanding pathogenesis processes and fish responses to external factors such as stress or temperature, making it one of the most promising tools for fish pathology research.
Dr. Sambhaji Ovhal, Dr. Sandeep Anarse Copyright (c) 2022 Dr. Sambhaji Ovhal, Dr. Sandeep Anarse https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/136 Sat, 20 Aug 2022 00:00:00 +0000 Biosynthesis, Environmentally Friendly Synthesis Using Plants, Bacteria, and Fungi to Produce Nanocomposites and as Antibiotics and Reduce Wastewater Pollution (Part One ( https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/137
Nanotechnology today is moving from one visionary paradigm towards another. The advancement of marketing has made it an organized discipline to study; if not, marketing existed in the antiquated past. The features of this transform are studied. This complex integral transform is also used to simplify the core issue to a simple algebraic equation. The solution to this basic issue may then be determined by solving this algebraic equation and applying the inverse of this complex integral transform. Finally, the complex integral transform is employed to solve higher order ordinary differential equations. Also, we present several key engineering and physics applications. This chapter of the course teaches two incredibly effective ways to solve differential equations: the Fourier and the Laplace transforms. Beside its practical application, the Fourier transform is also of vital significance in quantum physics, establishing the relationship between the position and momentum representations of the Heisenberg commutation relations. An integral transform is valuable if it helps one to convert a difficult issue into a simpler one. The transforms we will be learning in this portion of the course are largely used to solve differential and, to a lesser degree, integral equations. The theory of Fourier series and integrals has always had considerable challenges and requires a huge mathematical apparatus in dealing with concerns of convergence. It encouraged the creation of techniques of summation, albeit they did not lead to a wholly adequate solution of the issue. ... For the Fourier transform, the inclusion of distributions (thus, the space S) is inevitable either in an explicit or hidden form. ... As a consequence one may acquire everything that is wanted from the point of view of the continuity and inversion of the Fourier transform.
Dr. D. S. Bodkhe , Dr. G. S. Toru Dutt and Sarojini Naidu represent the early creative release of feminine sensibility. After them, women writers appeared sporadically and it was only after 1950 that there was an emergence of Indian English women Novelists like Kamala Markandaya, Nayantara Sahgal, Ruth Prawer Jhabvala and Anita Desai. The glorious beginning further resulted in the creative bloom in the post-Rushdie period so that one could speak of women's fiction. In this connection one may mention Shashi Deshpande, Shobha De, Bharati Mukherji, Juliette Banerjee, Raji Narasimhan, Anjana Appachana, Githa Hariharan, Nisha da Cunha and Neelum Sharan Gour.

The leading new novelists of the last two decades of the twentieth century have generally been men, Arundhati Roy being an exception. However, the genre Short Fiction seems to be largely a feminine preserve in this period. Most male novelists have written short stories as a kind of subsidiary activity to their novels “a by-product of the novel workshop”; but the situation seems to have been reversed in the case of contemporary women writers whose favoured form is the short story. Some leading short story writers like Bulbul Sharma, Anjana Appachana and Neelum Sharan Gour have attempted writing novels, others like Nisha da Cunha, have dedicated themselves to short fiction alone.

Like the novel, this genre also deals with women’s issues and is nowadays the most popular genre because it suits female sensibility and temperament. Women writers have revealed their peculiar experiences in this form and presented their vision of life. Their central characters act as a picture camera and present the real image of society and the predicament of women in a male dominated world. Within this patriarchal society, they are in search of identity. In other words, their lyric awareness reveals the inner self of women, their peculiar feelings, emotions and search for identity. They also examine Indian women as a stereotyped wife, as a child bearer, and as an object to please and allure men with her physical charms. Even a first casual reading of their stories reveals the shameful attitude of men towards women and their obsessive desire for sex.

A historico-critical survey of short fiction by Indian English women writers shows remarkable changes not only in society but also in women’s approach to traditions, social conventions and their personal priorities. The submissive woman of the ‘forties and ‘fifties and the educated and assertive woman of the ‘sixties and ‘seventies, have been replaced by the ‘new woman’ of the ‘eighties and ‘nineties. This new woman has realised her woman-power. She is not in conflict with the male, and she has rejected, finally, choicelessness.

The significance of the present study lies in its critical focus on the contemporary Indian English short fiction by women and portrayal therein of women in the present social milieu. Women writers have depicted the social and psychological reality of the post-independence period. The Indian English short story by women writers has considerably matured and is now able to reflect social and individual reality with precision. Women writers have used it as a literary barometer and they have noticed political behaviour, joint family system, the generation gap, changing attitudes towards love, marriage, sex and the impact of feminism on contemporary women in the Indian society.

In Indian English short fiction by women, the feminist voice is loud enough to be heard. In neo-colonialism era in India, women short story writers are examining the role of family and society very positively. The present book aims at studying the writers chosen with a view to analyzing their themes (in the light of feminist theory), characterization and style.

The book is divided into five chapters. Chapter I – “Introduction” deals with the theory of short fiction, development of short fiction as a genre, followed by a historico-critical survey of Indian English short story particularly by women writers and a brief discussion of Feminism and feminist literary theory / criticism.

Chapter II – “Anita Desai” deals with her short stories. It contains a discussion of the making of the writer and analysis of her short stories from the angles of pessimism and feminism. It also focuses on the elements of symbolism and portrayal of women characters in her short stories.

Chapter III – “Shashi Deshpande” presents a synopsis of Deshpande’s literary career, influences on her writings and analysis of her representative short stories in the light of feminist literary theory and consequently presentation of women in them.

Chapter IV –“Other Indian English Women Writers of Short Fiction” deals with the analysis of the representative short stories of Attia Hosain, Raji Narasimhan, Kamala Das, Nergis Dalal, Githa Hariharan, Anjana Appachana, Shalan Savur, Prema Ramakrishnan and Tara Deshpande. Chapter V - forms the conclusion, where arguments of the preceding chapters are summarized and a cohesive picture is given. The analysis of short stories by contemporary Indian English women writers shows how cultural patterns run like a thread in the short stories of these women writers. Despite provincial disparities, they are successful in portraying the socio-cultural ethos which is basically Indian. Their short stories show formal diversity but there is a common denominator: feminist consciousness.
MOHD. TARIQ Copyright (c) 2022 MOHD. According to the World Health Organization, by 2030, approximately 63 million women will have a miscarriage, with one in nine women under the age of 80 undergoing surgery for the disease, with 30% requiring re-surgery. The tendency for the disease to grow not only among
older women but also among young and middle-aged women is becoming the focus of surgeons and gynecologists. "Currently, there are more than 300 surgical treatments for small pelvic organ falls, but the effectiveness of the proposed methods is insufficient and the recurrence rate of the disease reaches 25-30%." This situation depends not only on the choice of the inadequate surgical method but also on the quality of preparation of patients before and after surgery. The greatest focus is on women of reproductive age, which requires a reduction in the recurrence of the disease and an increase in the effectiveness of treatment in addressing the issue of reproductive function. Given the severity of the disease, the age of women, and the possibility of improving the method of surgical contraception in this category of patients, it is necessary to introduce into clinical practice improved methods of surgical removal of pelvic floor falls. It is based on performance studies; it argues that performance of rituals, folklores, myths, and shamanistic performance of this indigenous group are essential to affirm their identity in the contemporary times when their economic, religious, demographic changes become dominant. The myths of Chepang also affirm the privacy of their dwelling places and its domestic livestock and nearby wild animals which they hunt for food. The symbolic representation of folklore makes their land of habitation including their vegetable garden a sacred place. The sanctity of their place of dwelling comes from the fact that it had sheltered and fed their ancestors. This dissertation analyzes their songs, dances, rituals and shamanistic performances in the light of Richard Schechner’s notion of performance, Erving Goffman’s idea of everyday activities (performance) and Clifford Geert’z idea of culture and performance. In the present times, the cultures of different communities are being intersected and from this Chepangs are not exceptional. However, they are able to preserve their culture and identity through their folkloric performances. Folklores and rituals are the cultural performances and folklore like songs, Shamanism and rituals are cultural representation of this ethnic community. Therefore ChepangS mark their identity through their folkloric cultural performances by giving it continuity and preservation.
Suresh Aryal Copyright (c) 2022 Suresh Aryal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/106 Tue, 15 Mar 2022 00:00:00 +0000 Analysis of Current Research and Development (R&D) Mechanism and Preparation of a Model for Research and Development at University Level in Pakistan https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/104
This study titled, “Analysis of current research and development mechanism and preparation of a model for research and development at university level in Pakistan” was conducted with the objectives to (1) analyze the status of research and development at universities in Pakistan, (2), explore the existing research and development practices at universities in Pakistan (3) identify the problems faced by research & development center for its smooth functioning (4) find out the trends of research & development in Pakistani Universities, and (5) propose a model of research & development for Pakistani universities. It is one of the avoidances spread spectrum (SS) communication which is used in the jamming and interference environments. In FH/SS system, a synchronization reception with the code at the receiver is used for de-spreading the received signal and then a subsequent data recovery is followed. There are many available synchronization techniques that can be used in FH/SSS. Most of these techniques require complex search operations and hence need complex hardware.

In this book: a contiguous and noncontiguous parallel digital BPF banks for FH/SS transceiver system has been designed and implemented in real time successfully using MATLAB-Simulink. The above designed bank of filters is used as a simple and efficient approach for synchronization of the FH/SS transceiver system. Four FFH/SS transceiver systems using contiguous and noncontiguous BPF banks are proposed to transmitting at data rate 160 k bit/sec for frequency hopping rate of 160 k hop/sec. Four systems have been used to spread the transmitted data in the HF band, 18 MHz (3-21MHz), 37.2 MHz (3- 40.2MHz) for ASK and BFSK FH/SSS using contiguous digital BPF banks respectively, 9.6 MHz (3-12.6 MHz), 19.2MHz (3-22.2MHz) for ASK and BFSK FH/SSS using noncontiguous digital BPF banks respectively.

Noncoherent detector is designed and simulated in the receiver due to Doppler effect. Two models of the jamming MTJ and HJ were designed and simulated. The proposed systems were examined in the presence of noise and two type of jamming: multitone and hopper. The obtained results proved that the proposed systems were passed these tests successfully.
Khalid Awaad Humood , Ali Abbas Ali, Omar Abdulkareem Mahmood , Tahreer Mahmood Copyright (c) 2022 Khalid Awaad Humood , Ali Abbas Ali, Omar Abdulkareem Mahmood , Tahreer Mahmood https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/98 Wed, 12 Jan 2022 00:00:00 +0000 DEVELOPMENT OF HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY BY IMPROVING SERVICE QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IN UZBEKISTAN https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/92
Today, 70 % of world GDB is earning by the service industry, which shows the importance of service sector among the all industries. In recent years, rapid and radical changes have taken place in all areas. The past period of independence has revealed many shortcomings and achievements, since the abolition of the cotton monopoly and gaining independence alone is not enough to build a new level of public life in the country. Therefore, our esteemed President Shavkat Mirziyoyev thought deeply about these issues and carried out serious reforms. It is no exaggeration to say that the "Strategy of Action" for the development of Uzbekistan, the development of 5 initiatives of a complex social and spiritual nature, was a locomotive in all spheres of domestic policy. As part of the implementation of a new policy in our region based on the principles of openness and mutual consideration of national interests, our Armed Forces have established and are strengthening close partnerships with their colleagues in all Central Asian countries. Over the past years, we have conducted a number of joint training sessions. We also organized visits of high-ranking military delegations and exchanged experience in operational and combat training. Today our growing cooperation is becoming an important factor in ensuring regional security and stability, peace and tranquility in our common home called Central Asia.
UZAKOV AKROM AVAZOVICH, MANSUR KHURRAMOV Copyright (c) 2021 UZAKOV AKROM AVAZOVICH, MANSUR KHURRAMOV https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/84 Mon, 29 Nov 2021 00:00:00 +0000 THE PHILOSOPHY OF BLESSEDNESS OF ABU HAMID GHAZALI https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/85
In the monograph, the great thinker and philosopher of the Eastern Renaissance, jurist and Sufi Abu Hamid Ghazzali's philosophical and mystical views on the philosophy of happiness, the importance of science and practice in human perfection, self-education and peace of mind. In the K to 12 curriculum, Values Education developed into Edukasyon sa Pagpapahalaga, which was subsequently modified to Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP). It enables the teachers to assist pupils in developing their values, attitudes, and habits in order for them to become good citizens of the country. This is where EsP plays a critical role in shaping students to be contributors to society's growth. Society's development does not have a predefined feature since it is the product of a consensus among its members.

Inadequate knowledge of the strategies teachers can use with various types of learners, a lack of understanding of the nature of the subject due to irrelevant field of specialization, and, most importantly, the limited time available to teach the subject, particularly during distance learning due to COVID-19 are the reasons that triggered the interest of the researcher to determine the level of understanding of selected Grade Nine (9) students of West Fairview High School in terms of Social Rights, Duties and Responsibilities of each individual in our present society.

To come up with the study's objectives, the research considers related reading materials from books, the internet, journals, magazines, and abstracts, both published and unpublished. The study's proponent thought it was useful in getting a more in-depth discussion of the research topic. Furthermore, the researcher utilized Descriptive Research Design to systematically to describe a situation, problem and phenomenon. Purposive sampling method we’re also being utilized in this study so that the researcher can freely choose the respondent selectively. Also, both face-to-face learning were also assessed.

The research finds out that in understanding social rights, duties and responsibilities through definition; student-respondents have fundamental knowledge in social rights, while conceptual knowledge on both social duties and social responsibilities. Furthermore, in understanding social rights, duties and responsibilities through actual situations; student-respondents have conceptual knowledge in defining social rights, while fundamental knowledge on both social duties and social responsibilities. Among the three, social rights, duties and responsibilities; it was social rights to which students better defined in comparison to the duties and responsibilities.

The goal of education is to develop the holistic skills and ability of the students which includes intellectual skills, emotional skills and behavioral skills. Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao curriculums have gained so much interest for more than a decade past wherein it is intended to produce students who are thoughtful, ethical, morally responsible, community oriented, and self-disciplined that why upon the recommendation, the research recommends that to combine effective and efficient teaching techniques or teaching materials in remote learning toward face-to-face learning, as distance learning has been shown to be superior than conventional learning in terms of evaluation.
AILYN FILLARCA GASPAR Copyright (c) 2021 AILYN FILLARCA GASPAR https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/87 Mon, 29 Nov 2021 00:00:00 +0000 PROGRAMMING AND ROBOTICS BASED ON STEAM LEARNING https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/83
This monograph shows the integration of the latest information technologies and computer programs with F. Froebel, his exercises and "gifts" with the help of which the child begins to cognize objects and the world around him in general, is well known. He begins to get acquainted with objects, understanding their properties of smoothness, roughness, and then roundness, sharp edges and other properties. Fröbel's "gifts" gradually prepare the child and introduce him to the world of interest to him. ... The most interesting is the use of the latest information technologies, platforms, sites for the development of the child along with these gifts. Computer programs and websites created by the author will come to the rescue here. Ready-made online resources of other scientists and educators. As a result of the research, the author determined the effectiveness of integrated teaching of children by F. For learning any language, both the oral and written skills are of equal importance. In fact, learning a second language is never easy. Learners have to wrestle with new vocabulary, rules of grammar, pronunciation and more. In learning a second language, vocabulary is the most paramount part. It is the soul and essence of a language. It is also first and leading stair in a language acquisition. Its knowledge plays an important role in almost all areas of language. So, the whole process of learning a language depends on learning its vocabulary. The current study evaluates the ways to improve vocabulary through affixes at elementary level. It was an experimental type of research based on quantitative research approach. One hundred students and thirty teachers from Bahawalnagar participated in this study. Experimental research with pretest posttest design was used. The data were collected through tests. The findings of the study revealed a significant improvement in vocabulary using affixes. The effectiveness of the study was also confirmed when the scores of the experimental group pre-test were compared with the scores of its post-test. The high mean of the scores recorded by the experimental group is likely due to the influence of the suggested affixes technique which proved to be a fertile teaching and learning aid that enhances both conscience learning and subconscious acquisition of vocabulary. It is recommended that quizzes, exercises and tests for affixes should be used to enhance the vocabulary among students. The recommendations and findings of this study should be taken into careful consideration and steps should be taken to implement those in our classrooms. If implemented intentionally, it is expected that the state of the teaching and learning of vocabulary skills at elementary level will be improved remarkably.
Farrukh Ghani Chishti Copyright (c) 2021 Farrukh Ghani Chishti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/82 Thu, 18 Nov 2021 00:00:00 +0000 IMPROVING THE TREATMENT TACTICS OF CHRONIC PELVIC PAIN CAUSED BY ADNEXITIS https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/78
The monograph presents the results of clinical laboratory and instrumental research, an assessment of the therapeutic the effectiveness of the use of intravaginal electrotherapy for women with chronic salpingo-oophoritis, complicated pelvic pain. The monograph is intended for obstetricians and gynecologists, family doctors, physiotherapists who provide treatment women with inflammatory diseases of the genital organs, and also for magistracy residents, clinical residents and 5-6 year students.
Zakirova N.I., Akhtamova N.A, Zakirova F.I Copyright (c) 2021 Zakirova N.I., Akhtamova N.A, Zakirova F.I https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/78 Wed, 17 Nov 2021 00:00:00 +0000 IMPROVING NARRATIVE WRITING SKILLS THROUGH STORIES AT ELEMENTARY LEVEL https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/79
As a productive skill, writing is a crucial skill to master in order to be successful in one’s academic pursuits. Due to its importance, writing is an important skill cultivated in an English language classroom at elementary level. The impact of materials upon the development of Second language teaching and learning is unavoidable. On the other hand, the commercialization of education has resulted with a plethora of materials flooding the language development arena, each claiming to be effective in its own way. As a result, field practitioners are facing a new dilemma; identifying the ‘best’ materials for their classes. Thus, it is beneficial for practitioners to acquire the knowledge of how such materials are produced. Such knowledge would develop the teachers’ ability to evaluate the potential of a teaching material and perhaps develop oneself. Stories are considered by many to be an important skill for narrative writing, and some have argued that the teaching of stories might help students avoid copying from source texts. This research work presents the results of using stories in the classrooms to improve the writing skills of the students. The students in the study found the skills taught to them useful, and they were able to apply them in a limited way. However, the results from the study indicated that the skills did not help the students equally. Students’ perception of their confidence in their learning abilities and the task assigned may not accurately reflect their writing skills. The researcher highlighted students’ perception of the skills taught to them and whether these skills actually helped them to become better narrative writer. Furthermore, stories are even claimed to be more effective in language teaching than traditional teaching methods. It was concluded that story telling is a potential source for the students to improve their writing skills. Based on the findings, the researcher recommends that English language teachers should use stories for teaching English in general and for teaching writing skills in particular at elementary level
Hina Saleem Copyright (c) 2021 Hina Saleem https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/79 Wed, 17 Nov 2021 00:00:00 +0000 TASTING THE PICKLES OF HISTORY: A POSTCOLONIAL STUDY OF BURNT SHADOWS BY KAMILA SHAMSIE https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/80
This explanatory research analyses the effects of cultural hybridity upon identity within the field of Post colonialism in Kamila Shamsie’s novel Burnt Shadows. The existence of geopark has its value for education, science, culture, and also socio-economic development. As evidence of past events, the geopark provides information about the earth's history and may not only have geological links but still present archaeological, ecological, historical, or cultural value (Patzak and Eder, 1998). Another definition of the geopark is a region with various sites that have international geological connotations managed with the concept of comprehensive sustainable development (Nikolava and Sinnyovsky, 2019). The application of the concept of geopark in several countries in Europe was not enough to make geopark known to the public. The formation of geopark in an area also has some influences that need to be considered, in line with the developments in the scope of geopark can also increase anthropogenic pressures on the environment and can be a threat to sensitive biodiversity. Therefore, in the formation and development of geopark, it is necessary to have a strong methodological approach as well as very well-defined measures. For the management of geopark that pays close attention to sensitive environments and in particular protected plants and animals and is very vulnerable to human activities, and other important cultural sites. International programs aimed at recognizing sites that have geological or geomorphological substances seem less developed than biological conservation. The biodiversity protected is known by various designations such as World Heritage, Ramsar, and Human and Biosphere Reserve (MAB). World Heritage conferences can identify geological and geomorphological values either directly or indirectly. Direct identification of these values can be through geological formations and physiography of extraordinary value
Siti Aqdawiya Pakaya, Moh. The review of related literature supported in drawing theoretical foundations of the study. The research focused to examine current situation of the students’ behaviors and factors influencing theses behavior. Survey method was used to gather required information. The 500 students and 120 teachers were randomly selected from the secondary schools of district Bahawalpur. Similarly 290 parents of sampled students were also approached to collect information. Three separate questionnaires were constructed and administered to the students, teachers and parents in this regard. The questionnaires focused on examining the roots of different negative social behaviors of secondary school students and factors that promote or reduce their existence among the students. The collected data were recorded in SPSS files. The findings unveil various factors that play role in developing negative social behaviors among the secondary school students. The major factors, in this regard, are lack of parents’ awareness of their siblings attitudes, teachers’ weakness in controlling the students’ behaviors and misinterpretation of social norms. The study recommends that parents and teachers should understand the needs and psychology of learners and behave friendly with them. They should also present themselves as a role model for the students. They must try to provide the students basic Islamic knowledge, and understanding of social norms, rituals and traditions. Parents and teachers should appreciate their children when they behave well. This strategy will serve as a positive reinforcement to the young ones. School can play positive role to eradicate negative behaviors among the students. In this context, this study is performed in conformity with analyzed teachers’ personality traits to recommend its impact on students’ learning achievement. This study is based on mixed method approach. The population of the study comprised of all the students, their teachers and head teachers (headmaster/ headmistress) of secondary schools. Multi-stage sampling technique was used to draw the true representative sample from the population. The respondents were taken from 12 districts i.e. Bahawalpur, Lodhran, Vahari, Attock, Chakwal, Toba Take Singh, Gujarat, Jhang, Sargodha, Rajan pur, Muzafar Garh, D.G Khan Tehsils of Punjab. Two questionnaires were used in the study as a research tool, one for teachers and one for students. The questionnaire for teachers and students was based on an adapted personality measure scales. The researcher has adapted the standardized personality questionnaire of John and Srivastava Big Five Inventory (1999). It was designed to measure extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness for analyzing personality traits of secondary school teachers, this version of the tool has already used in many studies to measure the personality traits of a person. An interview protocol was once developed for the head teacher and observation checklist to analyze teachers’ personality and behavior in the classroom. Academic achievement scores of these students were also taken from students’ previous class form Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE). The study consisted of entire subjects the teacher teaches in secondary classes. All research instruments were validated through applying factor analysis and Pearson correlation coefficient for constructs. Reliability of tools was determined via calculating Cronbach’s Alpha value. SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) software program was used to analyze the accumulated data. To analyze information means score, t-test and one-way ANOVA was used for the calculations. Responses from the semi[1]structured interviews and open-ended questions were used to analyze qualitative information. Both interview and observation were analyzed through the qualitative method of data analysis. The findings of the study reveal that only one unit in teachers’ personality will cause to increase in students’ performance. Openness has a significant positive effect on the students’ performance. The results demonstrate that teachers’ personalities indicate no significant effect on students’ performance. The findings expressed that students’ marks in the subject are not dependent on teachers’ personality. The correlation illustrates that there is a weak inverse correlation between extroversion and agreeableness while, neuroticism and agreeableness are moderate positive whereas, neuroticism and extroversion are very weakly positive. Openness has an inverse weak correlation with agreeableness, weak correlation with extroversion and very weak association with neuroticism. Conscientiousness has a weak correlation with extroversion and neuroticism and weak association with openness. Moreover, students’ marks in BISE exams have a very weak association with extroversion, openness, and overall personality. Finally, there is also a need that teacher must be hardworking, dedicated, and create a peaceful learning environment in the classroom which builds positive attitudes among students to foster their - learners and employ appropriate teaching methods. To improve the quality of education, the government should improve the recruitment policy and selection should be based on merit. The government should also organize different academic workshops and seminars for teachers on regular basis for their professional development. Based on the results of the observation, teachers need to be more enthusiastic and kind with student and should be active in classroom.
SHAISTA NOREEN ; DR. Relationship between these elements cannot be underestimated. Culture reflects in every aspect of the society i.e. language, religion, social life style of people, art, literature etc. People of a community symbolize their culture. Language bridges communication between different people and societies (Patil, 2015). The current study is based on pre-service English teachers’ cross-sectional survey to determine their attitude toward the variant aspects of Intercultural Communicative Competence (ICC) in the teaching of English as foreign language (EFL) in Pakistan. A self-structured questionnaire was used to collect the data. The results of the survey include teachers’ perception about EFL and their attitude towards ICC in the teaching of EFL. Reasons for learning English by Pakistani pre-service teachers are also included in the study which determine that vocational purpose tops the list among various given causes. The population of the current study included the future English teachers. The study was limited to the higher education institutes in the Southern Punjab, Pakistan. The sample of the study consisted of the students of English language studying at graduate level in the Southern Punjab Universities. The collected and tabulated data revealed that major part of the population was from urban background. Only a few of them had been to some English speaking country. Reading was decided as the major proficient language skill and the participants were least proficient in speaking. They considered language as the chief epitomizing symbol of a culture. The majority of the participants were learning English for occupational intentions. They believed that English is an international xiv language. It is not the language of any particular country or nation and professional success in the modern world demands proficiency. The participants had a positive attitude towards the learning of different cultural aspects of major English speaking countries to boost their communication skills in the natural situations. Further, the researcher also found that there was a significant relationship between the pre-service teachers’ attitude toward Intercultural Communicative Competence (ICC) and their language proficiency and educational qualification. However pre-service teachers’ residential background, age group, medium of instruction, language learning experience and gender differences had no significant effect on their attitude towards ICC on the teaching/learning of English as foreign language.
Zahida Parveen ; Dr. Muhammad Safdar Bhatti Copyright (c) 2021 Zahida Parveen ; Dr. Muhammad Safdar Bhatti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/70 Mon, 11 Oct 2021 00:00:00 +0000 DIAGNOSTIC ANALYSIS OF COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE IN THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF FUTURE DOCTORS https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/71
The monograph focuses on the development of communicative competence in the preparation of medical students for professional activity, including a modernized mechanism of verbal and nonverbal communication in future doctors, their strategic and methodological competencies, reflection development competencies, indicators of professional competence development, communicative competence, communicative competence. the model of development of communicative competence in preparation of future doctors for professional activity, the purposes, criteria in medical education, the cognitive component structure of communicative competence of medical education students are studied.
Kadirova Munira Rasulovna, Ergasheva Shahlo Po’latovna Copyright (c) 2021 Kadirova Munira Rasulovna, Ergasheva Shahlo Po’latovna https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/71 Mon, 11 Oct 2021 00:00:00 +0000 Teaching Writing Skills to SSC Students Studying English as a Subject https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/66
English language runs like blood in the veins of nations worldwide (Ahmed & Rao, 2012). As a result, the demand for English language has increased to the extent that it requires the citizens of modern societies to be proficient enough in order to be successful in their academic and professional careers (Muhammad,2011). In order to get success and to pursue their studies further, students are required to write with precision and originality and read with an appropriate level of comprehension (Nasir, Naqvi & Bhamani,2013).As a global medium of communication, the importance of English has increased a lot in the present social, political and commercial contexts. With the advancements of IT in various spheres of society, English has become the only language for the world citizens. Because of its international demand and recognition as a world language, English has always been a part of our education system. It is taught as a compulsory subject up to graduation level in Pakistani educational system. Writing is a key skill within the process of learning English language as it offers a way of communicating one’s thoughts and feelings. Pakistani secondary school students require writing skills for a number of educational purposes including writing tasks given by the teachers and taking tests and final examinations (Dar & Khan, 2015). Moreover, for the purpose of developing writing skills, effective reading skills are also required. Reading a variety of genres effectively helps learners to be efficient writers as they learn the sentence structures, vocabulary and style of writing from the texts they read. Thus, both skills are equally important and dependent on each other (Moureau,2015). Despite studying English for over 14 years, majority of students lack required command in English language writing skills to pursue their higher education and professional careers. Moreover, having an asserted focus on English language in Pakistani schools, “The language learners still face difficulties in almost every area: reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar”(Dar & Khan, 2015, p.122). One reason behind this situation is negligible iii implementation of skill-based language teaching at SSC level because the focus of teachers and students is on completion of syllabus and preparation for board examinations instead of skills building. Since the medium of instruction in many Pakistani secondary level schools is English and resource books and other instructional materials are mostly in English language (Khan, 2013), it is necessary for the students to have command in at least reading and writing skills to comprehend and produce learning at a desirable level. With this background in mind, the current research focused on teaching English writing skills and the problems faced while teaching these skills at SSC level schools in Bahawalpur. So, this study aims at exploring the teachers’ as well as students’ point of view to enhance their teaching and learning writing skills respectively. Because, writing skills play an important role in increasing the students’ level of interest, enjoyment and pleasure towards English as a second language learning. This work also attempted to focus on the results of practicing English language writing skills by interviewing teachers and students in some selective schools of Bahawalpur. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach. The population of the study was (40) secondary level teachers and (300) students of Bahawalpur. The sample was chosen randomly (20) teachers and (200) students of Govt. Junior Model Girls High School Bahawalpur and Computer Age Public School Bahawalpur in the academic year 20116-17. The researcher designed two questionnaires for the students and the teachers to measure the attitudes of teachers about learning English language writing skills and the difficulties and challenges faced by them in teaching this skill in the class. The questionnaires were developed according to the purpose of the study. These questionnaires were distributed among the teachers and the students of secondary level in Bahawalpur and their responses were analyzed statistically. On the basis of the findings of the results, it is shown that writing skills play a key role in the development and enhancement of knowledge of second language at secondary level. The findings also revealed the practices of teaching writing skills iv such as provision of model texts and relevant vocabulary items. The major problems while teaching writing skills were lack of pre-writing activities, learners’ deficient command over vocabulary, grammar, spellings and punctuation, lengthy syllabus and limited time. English Language teachers face many problems in teaching writing skills because they have to deal a large number of students from various backgrounds of languages. Teachers used to give written feedback on students’ work to attain the writing learning outcomes. Moreover, at SSC level, examination is based on textbook. Classroom practices used by teachers were based on examination pattern i.e. use of textbook and help books. The researcher recommends that creative writing can be used as a scaffolding strategy by the students in facilitating their learning and can also be used as a pedagogical tool by the teachers to enhance their learning experience as well as maximize the engagement in the classroom.
Quratulain; Dr. Muhammad Safdar Bhatti Copyright (c) 2021 Quratulain; Dr. Muhammad Safdar Bhatti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/66 Sun, 10 Oct 2021 00:00:00 +0000 EVALUATION OF B.SC ENGLISH TEXTBOOK TAUGHT IN THE AFFILIATED COLLEGES OF IUB: ESL TEACHERS AND STUDENTS PERSPECTIVES https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/64
Textbooks play a fundamental function in educational programs and language classrooms all over the globe. Textbooks play a significant character in learning teaching method particularly in emergent countries such as Pakistan. Textbooks are extremely accessible and useful resources that teachers and students can exploit according to their requirements. The intention of this study is to evaluate the significance and effectiveness of B.Sc English textbook that is taught in the affiliated colleges of IUB from the ESL teachers’ and students’ perspectives. The assessment of English textbook is conducted on the foundation of five criteria: the collection and association of contents in the textbook, price of the textbook, four skills, grammar and vocabulary, mechanism of the textbook. The study was conducted at three Govt. Colleges of District Rahim yar khan. Quantitative information was obtained through questionnaires administered to 200 students and 20 teachers. Percentages, frequencies, standard deviations and mean were calculated for every item to explain the whole depiction of how the students and teachers rated the textbook in conditions of five criteria. The outcomes discovered that both the students and the teachers felt negative about the majority of the items of the textbook. It was established that both grammar and vocabulary did not fulfill the students’ needs. Majority of the teachers and the students’ mentioned that the textbook material failed to enhance the four language skills. It was also indicated that there were no exercises and activities included in the textbook. Most of the students and all the teachers declared that textbook was not suitable for the level of the students.
Zahida Jabeen; Dr. Muhammad Safdar Bhatti Copyright (c) 2021 Zahida Jabeen; Dr. Muhammad Safdar Bhatti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/64 Sat, 09 Oct 2021 00:00:00 +0000 Texting, Social Media and Literacy: Writing in BS Classroom https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/65
Writing is a very difficult and complex process. It requires some important skills in order to make it clear and acceptable. It has never been an easy task to achieve especially for second language learners. As a productive skill, it is a crucial skill to master in order to be successful in one’s academic pursuits. Due to its importance, it is an important skill cultivated in an English language classroom at BS level. Within the globalization, new trends of using social media or social networking sites have been recently highlighted. Social media influence peoples’ lives in many aspects including education and English language learning. The Pakistani society is not an exception since Face book among other social media is more and more used, especially in the daily interactions of students among them the BS level students of The IUB. Social media were blamed firstly concerning this phenomenon and hypotheses were made about how modern technologies can affect directly or indirectly the process of writing academically among students. The aim of this study is to make a clear difference between texting and formal writing. Also, make students aware about the importance of writing whether in their personal or educational life. The present study is set out to determine the students’ attitudes towards formal essays mostly in exam papers as well as the functions of social media and how they can affect their formal writing. The current study also aims at studying the phenomenon of texting and its negative impact on students’ academic writing. The researcher thinks that the reasons that lead students to use the form of texting in writing are the lack of concentration, forgetting the form of some words and unconsciousness. The results obtained were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, and revealed that most students view that texting impact their writing according to some major reasons which are gaining time, forgetting the form of the words, using it unconsciously and simplicity.
Zahida Jabeen ; Muhammad Safdar Bhatti Copyright (c) 2021 Zahida Jabeen ; Muhammad Safdar Bhatti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/65 Sat, 09 Oct 2021 00:00:00 +0000 Investigating the Effectiveness of Process Approach in Teaching of Essay Writing at Elementary Level in Bahawalpur https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/63
English has been considered the most famous Lingua Franca. The advantages of calculating the heat-mass transfer on the basis of the extended thermodynamic potential (moisture potential) of the phases of non-stationary processes are shown. The calculation methods are based on technological, thermophysical, energy and environmental aspects. The monograph emphasizes the theoretical basis of the laws of heat-mass migration processes that occur in biologically active systems on the basis of non-stationary external influences. In particular, calculations have been developed and are scientifically based to minimize moisture release during storage of freshly harvested agricultural products and to ensure maximum moisture release during drying of wet hay.
The monograph is primarily based on construction and intended for doctoral students and masters of research engaged in the development of methods for improving the design features and technologies of technological facilities, as well as researchers, masters and bachelors, doctoral students, specialists directly involved in the design and operation of buildings and structures.
NAZIROVA R.M., XAMRAKULOVA M.X., USMONOV N.B Copyright (c) 2021 NAZIROVA R.M., XAMRAKULOVA M.X., USMONOV N.B https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/48 Thu, 01 Jul 2021 00:00:00 +0000 Research Methodology (Concepts and Cases) https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/49
This study aims to examine and analyze in-depth the elements of efficacy and explore the positive characters embodied in the teaching and learning process in Elementary School Teacher Education, State University of Semarang. They must ensure that their people are living under a good socio-political environment that could grant them safety. However, it varies from region to region and place to place. UK as a country is a big economy which is capable of giving its people the type of security they need. For this purpose, various types of strategies have been emphasized which enable the government to look for the benefit of its people. Open data system is one of these important developments which have been initiated within the setup of UK, that provide huge access to databases. There are online databases which have the potential for empowering their people so that they can move ahead in their lives. It improves their learning and knowledge, and gives them the opportunity to think ‘out of box’. It also brings them the ability to polish their learning skills and take the concession to take things out of their resources and utilize them fully. Although, there is some compulsion on the use of private data sources, yet it is necessary for us to know that not all data are confidential. Hence, this type of open data is integral for the people to get input from and make use of it accordingly. The research looks into the pros and cons of using open data systems to measure its impacts on the social and political development in UK. The use of open data system is not only beneficial for the people to perform their daily life tasks; it is important to evade corruption also. In other words, these open systems foster great accountability of national institutions. So, there is feeble chance of witnessing the element of corruption in the society that could cause chaos in the nation. The use of open data systems is important for creating rapid growth of innovation and creativity. It has been seen to play a big part in establishing a trend of innovative growth pushed by the availability of these resources.
Dr. Taha Shabbir Copyright (c) 2021 Dr. Taha Shabbir https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/43 Sat, 08 May 2021 00:00:00 +0000 THE ART OF ENTREPRENEURS TO SURVIVE DURING PANDEMIC COVID-19 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/42
Entrepreneurship as an endeavor to create value through the introduction of business opportunities, appropriate risk-taking management, and through communication and management skills to mobilize people, money, and other raw materials or resources needed to produce projects to run well. With the advancements of IT in various spheres of society, English has become the only language for the world citizens. Because of its international demand and recognition as a world language, English has always been a part of our education system. It has become a dire need of modern age all over the world. As a receptive skill, reading is a crucial skill to master in order to be successful in one’s academic pursuits. Due to its impact, reading is an important skill cultivated in an English language classroom at primary level. The effectiveness of methods upon the development of Second language teaching and learning is unavoidable. At the other end, the commercialization of education has resulted with a plethora of materials flooding the language development arena, each claiming to be effective in its own way. As a result, field practitioners are facing a new dilemma; identifying the ‘best’ materials for their classes. Thus, it is beneficial for practitioners to acquire the knowledge of how such materials are produced. Such knowledge would develop the teachers’ ability to evaluate the potential of a teaching method and perhaps develop oneself. This research work is an exposure of the theoretical background and the developmental process in the production of reading skills. Some primary schools in Bahawalpur have adopted ABL in their classrooms to improve students’ reading skills. ABL is even claimed to be more effective in language teaching than traditional teaching methods. As this study investigated the utility of ABL about the reading skills of primary level students, it was also designed to maximize reading comprehension skills through activities. In the hypothesis of the study, the researcher suggested that ABL would bring positive change in the students' reading comprehension skills. The study adopted pretest-posttest control group quasi experimental design. Two primary schools were purposively selected and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups.
Shahla Bajwa Copyright (c) 2021 Shahla Bajwa https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/37 Fri, 26 Mar 2021 00:00:00 +0000 Integrating Literature in ESL Classroom: A Survey Study https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/38
Teachers are perhaps the most critical component of any system of education. How well they teach depends on motivation, qualification, experience, training, aptitude and a host of other factors, not the least of these being the environment and management structures within which they perform their role. One of the main purposes of learning English is the ability to communicate effectively with other users of the target language. Teaching to communicate in real, everyday situations is very often neglected and students have little chance to practice ordinary language in the class. Many factors can cause the problem of the students’ language skills namely the students’ interest, the material, and the media among others including the technique in teaching English. There are many ways that can be done by the students to develop their ability in English. Therefore, teachers ought to provide learners with opportunities to improve their communicative skills. Although Pakistan experienced massive growth in enrollment soon after independence, such exponential growth has been accompanied by manifold challenges and dilemmas. The stimulus for the present study derives from the view that, in order to develop the capacity of students in the ESL language class, the teaching of language should be taught using literary pieces and should move away from a teacher-centered approach towards a student-centered one. Having used an activity-based and process-oriented integrated approach as a framework, the present study illustrated the impact of the proposed way of literature teaching in an ESL context. It was designed to encourage students to experience literary texts directly as a part of a process of meaning creation that develops their thought processes, imaginative faculties and interpretative skills and ultimately has a strong impact on their learning ability. Such a systematic approach to literature teaching in developing learners’ reading skills, therefore, is likely to enable teachers to have a more student-centered classroom. The present study also iii utilizes the devised teaching activities based on prediction initiating personal growth, in an actual teaching learning context in a selected research environment and explores students' responses to the proposed approach. The obtained data of the present study was collected through the administration of questionnaires which were analyzed descriptively. It was designed for the purpose of diagnosing pre-existing the subjects’ achievement in communicative skills. Besides, it is necessary to create an interesting and enjoyable atmosphere in the teaching learning process in order to make the students easier in improving their communicative skills. The findings suggested that application of the teaching approach proposed by the study notably changed the classroom dynamics in a positive way.
Majid Iqbal Copyright (c) 2021 Majid Iqbal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/38 Fri, 26 Mar 2021 00:00:00 +0000 SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC OPPRESSION OF WOMEN: A MARXIST FEMINISM STUDY OF A DOLL’S HOUSE AND HEDDA GABLER https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/39
The aim of this research is to illustrate the social and economic oppression of women in the light of Ibsen’s plays A Doll’s House and Hedda Gabler. On the other hand the research is based on the theory of Marxist Feminism which illustrates that the females are exploited socially, economically and morally. At the same time all the female characters especially the main female characters have been shown that they are used mere as a sex tool by the hands of the males and they have left with no choice. Even they are not given the human names rather they are treated as pets and that is the reason that they are not given the human names. Sometimes they are called as skylarks and sometimes dolls. This is the predominant view that females have no identity of their own and the plays under considerations are the true illustration of this view. This study mainly spans over five chapters where first chapter of the study is introduction that gives summary for the upcoming chapters. Second chapter of the study is literature review that contains the reviews of different writers and critics as well as the views of the researcher. However this chapter asserts to what extent the study is related to the reviews and how it is different from them. Third chapter of the study is theoretical framework which illustrates the basic postulates of the theory of feminism and its concerns with the present research. Fourth chapter of the study depicts the patriarchal oppression and women’s identity in A Doll’s House. The fifth chapter of the study is to depict the economic oppression and women’s psychological exploitation in Hedda Gabbler. Fertilizers emerged as necessary evil for crop industry, particularly the synthetic fertilizers which tend to persist in the soil system, affecting both soil microbial flora and fauna, thus damaging the soil health. Soil health is affected by a broad range of soil functions, such as rhizodeposition, bulk and rhizospheric soil nutrient content, soil organic carbon, pH, moisture, soil enzyme activities, and many others. Fertilizers play a crucial role in crop quality parameters when applied in optimum quantity. The detrimental effect of synthetic fertilizers will initiate from their manufacturing process, during which some toxic gases like NH4, CO2, CH4 etc. get released. However, indiscriminate use of these synthetic fertilizers for a significantly longer duration in the same agricultural field can result in soil deterioration and soil degradation and simultaneously leads to loss of beneficial soil microbes as well. Therefore, for sustainable agricultural production without polluting the environment, integrated approach which consist of organic manures and biofertilizers need to be properly used. The synthetic fertilizers should be blended with organic fertilizers can provide the higher positive impact on microbial population and soil health. Hence, optimum soil health is very essential for maintaining sustainability of agricultural production and soil microbial biodiversity
Ismail Marzuki, Hasim Copyright (c) 2021 Aadil Gulzar, Tajamul Islam, Ruquia Gulzar https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/24 Thu, 07 Jan 2021 00:00:00 +0000 Sustainable Developments in Agriculture and Plantation https://novateurpublication.com/index.php/np/catalog/book/25
Plant breeding is said to be one of the ancient and ongoing activities undertaken by mankind, who select plants and domesticated to quantify the production of yield and useful. The advent of civilizations paralleled the progress of plant breeding, although this has not been documented by the public. The reason may be lack of understanding of what plant breeding encompasses. With the course of time plant breeding was been formulated, but without losing the spirit of being art and science of manipulating plants for humans. The word culture comes from the Sanskrit word "buddhayah”, the plural form of buddhi which means mind or intellect (Koentjaraningrat, 2005). J.J. Honingmann in his book The World of Man (1959) distinguishes the existence of three "cultural phenomena", namely ideas, activities, and artifacts. This is then confirmed by the opinion of Koentjaraningrat (2009) which states that there are three forms of culture, namely; (1) the form of culture as a complex of ideas, values, norms, rules and so on. (2) the form of culture as a complex of patterned activities and actions from humans in society. (3) the form of culture as objects created by humans. The first form is the ideal form of culture. It is abstract, cannot be touched or photographed, its location is in the head, or in other words, in the minds of the people in the community where the culture resides. The second form of culture is called a social system, regarding the patterned actions of humans themselves. This social system consists of human activities that interact, relate and associate with each other in every second, day and year, accordingly to certain patterns based on customary behavior. The third form of culture is called physical culture, taking the form of all physical products and activities, actions and works of all humans in society. They are most concrete in nature and are in the form of objects or things that can be made, seen, and photographed.
Atridia Wilastrina, Ariani, Kelvin Febrian, Ariesa Pandanwangi, Arleti M.
